Another AAH !

Not to long ago I told you about a gift of a key ring made from a nut of a tree that grows in Ecuador and when I saw the picture of the 'grape' of this tree it reminded me of it. maybe just the color, or the shape but it looked very similar. It turns out this is a Jabuticaba Tree which grows in South America and is known as the Brazilian Grape Tree.
The flowers appear twice a year and are cauliflorous, and they do look a little like a cauliflower.
Within a three day period the fruit ferments so wine is made from these grapes as well as jellies. Small animals that cannot climb high can reach up and knock the berries off of the trunk of the tree and enjoy a feast. They cause the berry to expel seeds which fall into the well irrigated soil and more trees grow. It is not only interesting to read and think about but it is nothing short of a miracle that the natives use these grapes as food and 'fuel' so to speak, and they dry out the skins of the grapes and use if to alleviate inflammation in the body, like for swollen tonsils or for diarrhea. They are now experimenting hoping they can come up with a cure for cancer as anti cancer compounds have been found in the fruit. Just when you think you know it all, you find that you know very little. Life is a learning process from start to finish .
So today, don't waste your seconds, make good use of them and learn something new and different. Save your pennies and buy a ticket to South America and taste the wine of the Jabuticaba Tree. If you can't plan a trip that far, make up your mind you will share time with friends and family and buy them some 'grape' and let your imagination take you to the huge barrel where you can dance bare foot and sing as loud as you can , who knows purple feet may be the newest fad. December ONE . . . the count down is on . . . Keep Christ in Christmas and while your singing don't forget to sing Happy Birthday to all those December babies. Hugs to all.
